The North Esports VALORANT League (NEVL) is the largest secondary school esports league for the Greater Vancouver region.
As the director for the 2023-2024 school year of the North Esports VALORANT League (NEVL), I undertake the monumental task of overseeing hundreds of students from dozens of schools.
Our NEVL Fall Open 2024, concluded 19 November 2023, involved 108 students across 10 schools. The NEVL Championships 2023 involved 14 schools and 117 participants.
In 2022-2023, I was a newly hired executive of the NEVL, and gained experience setting up streams and scheduling games. I was also directly responsible for the NEVL’s partnerships, including with the UBC Esports Association and indirectly with Lenovo as the sponsors of the NEVL Championships 2023.
